NYC Club Owner Offers Lindsay a Mink Coat!

Amid the hullaballoo surrounding Lindsay Lohan's alleged theft of a mink coat from a NYC college student, a Manhattan nightclub owner has stepped forward, offering to put an end to the matter by purchasing the scandal-magnet actress a coat all her own.

"I know what its like to have mistaken identity," John said in a statement released Wednesday. "Many times people take the wrong coat thinking that it's theirs at my nightclubs. I am offering to take Lindsay on a mink shopping spree with me, to have the coat of her choice."
He also plans to help settle Masha Markova (who realized that Lindsay had walked off with the pricey bit of outerwear after seeing a photograph of the actress wearing it in OK!). He continued, "My motto has always been, 'If the coat fits, buy it.'"
