After much talk this week that President Barack Obama was planning to deliver his State of the Union address on Feb. 2 — the same day as the Lost premiere — one of the show's executive producers finally put fans of the hit ABC show at ease.

"No State of the Union conflict with LOST! We go Feb. 2!" Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse Tweeted this afternoon.

"In exchange for moving his speech, Damon and I promise to answer ANY questions the President has about LOST," he continued.

It's a good thing the season premiere is still Feb. 2. Lost fans nationwide were fuming over the news that the season opener might be pushed back a week.

They've even started a Twitter hashtag: #NoStateofUnionFeb2.

The much anticipated final season of the series is supposed to finally provide most of the answers to some of the show's most puzzling questions.
