Olivia met six-year-old Kaylee, the daughter of food bank worker Maria Sanchez, who was in the Plaza Towers Elementary School that was hit directly by the EF5 tornado on May 20. She survived the horrific natural disaster because of the quick thinking by her teacher, who laid across several students to keep them safe.

During a visit to the set of her HBO series, Olivia told E! News, "It's not surprising at all to see all of the heroism and all of the love that just pours in from everybody in Oklahoma," she says. "That's just how Oklahoma is. I mean, you see someone on the news and nobody wants to take credit for being a hero. Nobody wants to let a person sit on the floor crying. Nobody wants to leave another person behind that's injured. That's just the Oklahoma way."
