Babyshambles frontman and former Kate Moss hanger-on Pete Doherty is behind bars today, after a judge sentenced him to 14 weeks for breaching the terms of his probation.
Doherty has spent the past several years in and out of court on drug-related offenses. This latest incarceration stems from an October court hearing in which he admitted to several drug and driving offenses in exchange for a suspended four-month sentence.

During the October hearing, Doherty plead guilty to driving while in possession of crack cocaine, heroin, ketamine and marijuana.
The 14-week sentence means that the singer/songwriter will be forced to cancel an April 26 performance at Britain’s Royal Albert Hall. His appearance at Britain’s Glastonbury festival — where last year Doherty and Moss were married in a non-legally binding ceremony — was also doubtful.
