Phaedra Parks will finally shed some light on her decision to divorce her incarcerated husband, Apollo Nida, after he was sentenced to eight years in prison for fraud.
In a preview clip from the upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Parks finally sounds off on why she chose to to Nida. “I married him because I thought he was a changed man,” Parks says. “My husband was trying to attack me. I was losing my sanity.” And the lawyer went on to reveal that she’d “like a divorce” from her estranged husband as she attempts to adjust to life as a single mother.
We’ve watched the breakdown of Parks’ and Nida’s marriage over the season, and Parks already confirmed back in October she was in process of divorcing Nida. But the clip from the show’s Mar. 22 episode marks the first time we’ve heard Parks talk openly on RHOA about her plans to leave Nida.
