Last night I celebrated the Emmy-nominated reality show Project Runway at trendy Meatpacking District lounge Pop Burger. I was tearing into a juicy medium-well patty when a striking woman in a simple black sheath and a smart bob saddled next to me on the couch. It was none other than Project Runway season three finalist . I quickly wiped the grease from my fingers (on a napkin, of course!), and whipped out the digital recorder to find out about her latest projects and her 8-month-old bundle of joy. “His name is Finn, which hopefully stands for finito, finished, done,” the 44-year-old mother of six joked. “He’s one of those happy, chubby, content babies. I’ve had other babies that are all skinny and alien.” Laura’s also returning to Bryant Park with MetLife Presents Snoopy in Fashion, a benefit for Dress for Success. Alongside fashion icons and , she’ll create outfits inspired by Charles M. Schulz’ Peanuts gang for the Sept. 7 event. “I’m doing Pig-Pen. He had the cloud of dust, and Woodstock. Lots of fabulous feathers,” Laura detailed. So I had to ask, did she ever make nice nice with her on-camera nemesis, season three winner ? “I don’t talk to Jeffrey. I believe in karma, that’s all I got to say.” But she and fellow finalist have become BFFs. “She stays with me every time she comes to New York City,” Laura revealed. “She just goes into the boys’ room and climbs into one of the bunk beds.” Also spotted: season three early castoff .
