Former The Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas is speaking out for the first time about her split with ex-fiance Jesse Csincsak.

Pappas, who chose Jesse over current The Bachelor Jason Mesnick in the show's final rose ceremony, tells Extra she called off her engagement because, "it came down to two totally different people. I believe we all make mistakes in life and we learn from them. Jason, who has it all together, has everything a woman would want. And then there's Jesse, who kind of was like a wild card...And for me, I felt like the wild card was going to work out. Someone to keep me on my toes. But eventually it wasn't what I was attracted to anymore."

Both Pappas and Jesse seem to have moved on. Jesse is now seeing The Bachelor: London Calling alum Holly Durst. "Jesse and Holly met while we were seeing each other," Pappas admits.

But don't think this bachelorette is crying into her pillow every night! Pappas is the new host of Lifetime's Get Married and she recently took a trip down memory lane, surprising Jason Meznick on The Bachelor during his fantasy dates!

Of the surprise reunion Pappas says, "It is worth the wait. I believe that it's going to resolve some issues for myself and possibly some viewers."

As for what he thought of the whole situation, Mesnick says, "Of course it threw me off. I fell in love with her and I went through my healing process. And she's the last person I expected to see, especially in New Zealand."

Oh, the drama!

Extra's interview airs tonight!
