It will be a very sad day when Regis Philbin leaves Live! With Regis and Kelly, but we hope Jerry Seinfeld will be able to lighten the mood.
According to USA Today, Jerry has been named Regis' first replacement on the show.
When Regis leaves on Nov. 18, Kelly Ripa will have several guests hosting the shows before a permanent replacement is announced.
First up is Jerry, who will join Kelly on Nov. 21 through Nov. 23.

Other guests reportedly will include Jason Segel, Kim Cattrall, Howie Mandel, Jamie Oliver and Miss Piggy.
Executive producer Michael Gelman is pleased with the lineup and says, "It's a great way to kick off the new beginning of our show."
