Oh, Zac Efron. There was a time when he was the innocent, adorable star of High School Musical with a promising future ahead of him. He still has plenty of promise, but it's been a tough road lately. He went to rehab twice last fall, and this week he was assaulted on Skid Row in Los Angeles. Let's remember him in a much sweeter, funnier moment, eh?

Just around two years ago, Efron hit the red carpet for the premiere of his movie The Lorax. The Lorax is, of course, a children's book by Dr. Seuss, but Efron did something distinctly un-child-like at the premiere: he dropped a condom on the carpet by mistake. He was later grilled about it by Matt Lauer on the Today Show. Talk about That Awkward Moment.

The moment is still super weird, no matter how many times you've watched it. How does someone possibly pull a condom out of their pocket accidentally? Was it for publicity, or was it a genuine accident? Whatever happened, applause to Efron for handling the Lauer interview so well!

What do you think was really going on with this moment? Do you think Efron planned it? Do you think Efron's career will survive his hardships? Tell us in the comments below or tweet us @OKMagazine.
