Remembering Isaac Hayes

Loved ones arrived for a memorial at the Hope Presbyterian Church today near Memphis to pay their last respects to soul singer Isaac Hayes, who passed away Aug. 10 of an apparent stroke.

Plans for the memorial included speeches, musical performances, photos, and video clips. The Reverends Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were scheduled to attend, along with actresses Kelly Preston and Anne Archer, and U.S. Representative John Lewis.
