'Revenge' Star Madeline Stowe "Fell Deeply in Love" With Robert Pattinson Before 'Twilight'

We all might be in love with Robert Pattinson now, but Revenge star Madeline Stowe had dibs on the hunky actor years back!

The actress, who was nominated for a Golden Globe last night, talked about her in-development directorial debut, Unbound Captives, which Rob was very interested in before he was cast in The Twilight Saga. But sadly, R-Pattz thinks he might be too old to play the role that he and Madeline had discussed.

"Well it's all sort of going to be up to Robert," Madeline told MTV's Josh Horowitz on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. "We're looking at 2013 right now, and the character was conceptualized as an 18-year-old." 

"I actually met Robert before Twilight came out and fell deeply in love with him," added Madeline, who would like Hugh Jackman to be in her film as well.

That's when Josh asked the Revenge star if she'd be willing to change the age of the character so that Rob could do the movie. 

"We might age it up," Madeline confirmed. "We'll see how it all falls."
