Money in the bank! Leah McSweeney was prepared to walk away from The Real Housewives of New York City after being offered a “miniscule” pay raise for the second season.
Well, it appears Bravo has ponied up and given her a raise. Page Six is reporting that the TV star will now be paid $10k an episode — up from the previous $3k an episode on her first season.
The outlet is also reporting that all of the women, including McSweeney, “got the standard wage increase” that comes with the new season.

OK! previously reported that McSweeney was “trying to strong arm” the network into “paying her double, putting her on the same money level as old timers LuAnn de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan.” However, Bravo was “not budging,” and they started “to film without Leah and think she will back down after a few weeks of them not needing her.”
“Bravo is super tight when it comes to money. None of the ladies earn millions on the show,” the source told OK!. “The reason the franchise is so successful and won’t be canceled like the Kardashians is because Bravo watches the bottom line like a hawk. The only person making a ton of money off this franchise is Bravo.”
The raise coincidentally coincides with the Married to the Mob founder's recent signing with powerhouse talent agency WME. McSweeney shared the news in an Instagram post. Fans and friends immediately congratulated the star on the big news, but were more curious about whether or not she would be returning to RHONY.

One user wrote: “Yes. Let’s see if they can negotiate for a real raise!” referring to McSweeney’s ongoing dispute with Bravo over not paying her what she felt she deserved for the new season.
The 38-year-old commented back, writing, “My work here isn’t done yet!” reassuring fans she was coming back to the hit Bravo show.
Page Six is also reporting that filming will look a little different for the ladies this season. There will be multiple COVID-19 tests per week, quarantining and more closed sets with no extras. “If they are at a restaurant there will be no other patrons,” a source told the outlet.

There are also reports of a new cast member joining the ladies this season. An unidentified Black woman is allegedly joining the show to increase diversity.
OK! previously reported that former E! host and current Daily Mail TV correspondent Alicia Quarles, who is married to husband Michael Ross, would join the hit Bravo franchise for its 13th season.
