It has been about a year since Chris Brown's abuse of Rihanna, and the 21-year-old chart-topping songstress has grown so much since that devastating 2009 Grammy night. RiRi stopped by Carson Daly's radio show yesterday on 97.1 to talk about her new album Rated R, helping Haiti, and how she will not be performing at this years Grammys, where she is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West for the hit "Run This Town."

After Carson asked Rihanna if she knew what she would be performing at the awards show, she corrected him.

"Oh no, I'm not performing."

Carson replied with surprise, "Well that is a problem. Who do I call to get you on the show?"

Rihanna referenced what happened last year between her and Chris and how it changed the mood at the 2009 Grammy ceremony.

Rihanna also talked about her involvement in the Haiti telethon where she performed "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)" from London with music legends Bono and Jay-Z.

"We had just recorded it a couple of days before," Rihanna told Carson.

She said it was her first time meeting and working with U2's renowned frontman.

"It was awesome. Bono is amazing."

"You meet people like Bono and Jay-Z, Madonna...they're very down to earth," Rihanna added. "These are people you look up to and you have no idea what they're really made of. Then when you meet them they are just normal people "
