It was a rare sight to behold on Monday night, as all four stars of Sex and the City gathered in one room to honor one of their own at a charity gala, but that didn't mean the night was without its drama.

The femmes fatale all gathered at Capitale in Manhattan for a dinner to benefit the Point Foundation, which provides financial support for gay, lesbian and transgendered youths, and where SATC star Cynthia Nixon was honored with the Point Courage Award.

And while it's long been reported that co-star Kim Cattrall was the diva among the foursome, an OK! spy says that last night that role seemed to go to the show's lead actress, Sarah Jessica Parker.

“Kim and Cynthia sat at the same table with Kristin Davis and SATC executive producer Michael Patrick King," the insider tells OK!. "But Sarah was sitting like the queen bee at the next."

And according to the spy at the Motorola-sponsored event, it didn't appear to be just a matter of a mistake on the seating chart. "When Sarah got up to present an award to Time Warner, she brushed passed the ladies without a word — Cynthia looked shocked!”

Meanwhile, Kim couldn’t have been prouder of her on- and off-screen pal. The sexy star was the one who started the standing ovation when Cynthia received her award. “Isn't she just amazing?" she exclaimed. "Cynthia so deserved this. She's such an incredible woman."

A Calvin Klein-clad Cynthia gave a fierce speech about how she should have known she was a lesbian back in high school because she wore a bowler hat, tie and vest. She joked, "It was the era of Annie Hall, but STILL."
