Now that Sarah Silverman’s breakup with Jimmy Kimmel has been solidified by him stepping out with staffer Molly McNearney, the comedienne is free to f*** Matt Damon or whomever else she pleases.

She doesn’t have her eye on usual standbys like John Mayer, George Clooney or Gerard Butler, though.“I wish I had a celebrity crush,” the actress, 38, tells me during a Project A.L.S. benefit held at NYC’s Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge this week. “No! Like who? Celebrity crush. No. I want one! I don’t have any feelings toward anyone. It’s awful.”

She calls Matt “very nice,” but admits they met only briefly to film their spoof video in 2008.

She rattles off her desired qualities when it comes to a new man.

“Kind, funny, manly,” she begins. “I would like a man bigger than me – preferably someone who can lift me over his head. But then, you fall in love with someone that’s nothing you’ve described, so it’s really just for fun to think about -- ‘I want someone like this or like this.’ But you never know who you’re going to fall in love with.”

How important is humor considering both David Letterman and her ex have romanced staffers?

“Yeah, it’s important,” she tells me. “I wish it wasn’t because it really narrows down the playing field, and it usually narrows it down to f***** up freaks. But I don’t even know how to talk to someone who isn’t funny.”

Still, Ben Stiller’s zany mom, Anne Meara, holds out hope for Sarah to reconcile with Jimmy.

“I love Sarah Silverman,” Anne says. “I think she should go back to Jimmy Kimmel. And then she did that I’m F****** Matt Damon. Why? Hello. I thought they were cute together, and on the surface – shallow.”

The couple dated for five years before calling it quits in July 2008, and reunited briefly that October before going their separate ways in March.

Still, things are looking up for Sarah, who readies for the bowling event by stretching. As Michael Jackson’s Beat It plays and food including burgers, chicken bites and coconut shrimp sail around, she bowls a strike. Woo-hoo! Katie Couric, Caroline Rhea and Janeane Garofalo look on in glee.

Ooh! The gift bag includes a tan makeup bag from The Frye Company and a chartreuse ski cap from Burton.

Nearly $1 million rolls in to fight ALS during this Project A.L.S. benefit. The charity's mission is to identify effective treatments and find a cure for ALS, a fatal neurodegenerative disease that is closely related to Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
