While Shia LaBeouf's shattered hand was worked into the plot of the Transformers sequel this fall, his injury just won't allow him to do another project right now.
According to FoxNews.com, the Indiana Jones star has dropped out of a new movie directed by Neal Burger, Dark Fields, because the area around his thumb still needs more surgery.
The site quotes a source as saying, "Shia’s hand is totally shattered, it’s much worse than anyone thought."

Filming on the project had already been delayed, and now that Shia's out, filmmakers are likely going to be looking for a replacement, and fast.
