Simon Cowell Talks Idol

He’s back — and with more bite than ever! Snarky British American Idol judge Simon Cowell says this year’s Idol will be “as bizarre as any year we’ve ever had.” And, Cowell told Extra, that this year’s crop of bad contestants are worse than ever. “People come onto the show who are obviously terrible… but they’re arguing more with me this year like I’m the crazy one.”
So is Cowell the King of Mean? “Oh no, I mean I haven't been drowning kittens for 10 years. I've just been telling a few people who are useless singers.”

Cowell also countered rumors that his Idol co-judge Paula Abdul would be performing at this year’s Superbowl. “I think it would be fantastic. Let's hope for another wardrobe malfunction.”
