All's fair in love and war, right? Sinead O'Connor has broken her silence about her 18-day marriage to Barry Herridge by — what else — talking to the press!

OK! NEWS: SINEAD O'CONNOR ENDS 18-DAY MARRIAGE — "WE MADE A MISTAKE RUSHING INTO GETTING MARRIED"

Sinead told the UK Sun, "It felt like I was living in a coffin. It was going to be a coffin for both of us and I saw him crushed. The whole reason I ended it was out of respect and love for this man."

Apparently their wedding night is when things went awry, as they traipsed through seedy parts of Sin City: "We ended up in a cab in some place that was quite dangerous." She added, "I wasn't scared — but he's a drugs counselor. What was I thinking?"

OK! NEWS: SINEAD O'CONNOR TO CELEBRATE 45TH BIRTHDAY WITH FOURTH MARRIAGE

"Then I was handed a load of crack. Barry was very frightened — that kind of messed everything up a bit really."

The four-time bride told the paper she's done with marriage for good and also mentioned, "I don't think I will even date anyone."

What do you think about their super short-marriage? Should they have given it a shot or was it better to end it sooner rather than later?
