The new year doesn't start until Snooki drops. Seriously... from a ball in NYC's Times Square.

According to The Associated Press, MTV has big plans for 2011's "MTV New Year's Bash."
MTV will be putting the Jersey Shore's Snooki inside a ball and dropping her in Times Square to ring in 2011!
But don't worry, it's not the New Year's Eve ball.

And if that's not enough to make you want to watch, the Jersey Shore stars will also lead the crowd in fist pumps, to try to break the Guinness World Record.
The live, hour-long show, hosted by comedian Whitney Cummings, airs from 11 p.m. to midnight!
