TAG Heuer (Sorta) Stands by Tiger Woods

Looks like there is a small glimmer of hope for Tiger Woods and his dwindling endorsement deals. After speculation that TAG Heuer had ended their partnership with the pro golfer, the Swiss Watch company has now decided to stand by their man... just not as close as they were before.
In a posting on their Web site, they declare, "TAG HEUER stands with TIGER WOODS."
The statement continues to say that the company will continue its relationship with the pro golfer, but "will respect his desire of privacy by modifying his role in the coming months’ marketing programs."
Tiger became a TAG Heuer brand ambassador in 2002 and the relationship between the golfer has been (up till now) lucrative and beneficial to sports watch company.
“The partnership with Tiger Woods will continue,” President and CEO of TAG Heuer Jean-Christophe Babin, said in a statement on the Web site, “but we will downscale the use of his image in certain markets for a period of time, depending on his decision about returning to professional golf.
