Tamera Mowry-Housley had been frantically searching for her niece Alaina Housley ever since last night’s nightclub massacre in California. Alaina was Tamera’s 18-year-old niece through her marriage to her husband Adam Housley.
Adam and Tamera confirmed the worst to Us Weekly in a joint statement, “Our hearts are broken. We just learned that our niece Alaina was one of the victims of last night’s shooting at Borderline bar in Thousand Oaks. Alaina was an incredible young woman with so much life ahead of her and we are devastated that her life was cut short in this manner. We thank everyone for your prayers and ask for privacy at this time.”
The Real also released a joint statement on Instagram. "The Real is heartbroken for the victims of the senseless tragedy in Thousand Oaks, which included Alaina Housley, the niece of Tamera and Adam Housley. We send prayers and strength to all the victims’ families and their community as well as our gratitude to the first responders. We send all our love and our deepest condolences to the Housleys, our family, during this difficult time," they said.

Tamera and Alaina appeared to have a close connection of their own, as noted through pictures on the college student’s Instagram.
Adam told the LA Times earlier today, "My gut is saying she’s inside the bar, dead. I’m hoping I’m wrong." At the time Alaina's Find My iPhone location was inside the nightclub.
The couple even took to social media to help with their search.
