Taylor Lautner's Abs Featured in 'GQ'

Taylor Lautner is showing off his hot abs in the July issue of GQ magazine! And while the Twilight heartthrob looks great shirtless, he opens up about the awkwardness that comes along with shedding your clothes in the latest issue of GQ.

"Originally I was supposed to take off my shirt," Taylor tells GQ about how is role in Valentine's Day was originally written."The script said we were walking into school and Willy takes off his shirt. I said, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. He's gonna take off his shirt in the middle of school? No, no, no. The reason I took off my shirt for New Moon is because it's written in the book that way. And there's reasons behind it."

The superstar also opened up about being there for friend/former girlfriend Taylor Swift after the VMA Kanye West incident.

"I was standing behind her as it was happening, and 100 percent I was sure it was staged! I thought, 'This was something that they rehearsed.' I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face."

Taylor admits that having co-star Kristen Stewart at his side during the Oscars helped him get through the nerve-wracking presenting experience.

"I would have passed out if she wasn't there! You're looking down and you're talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio — and they're listening to you!"he said.
