After surviving a harrowing car accident, Terrence J and girlfriend Golden Barbie have found themselves into more hot water.

According to reports, the couple is now under investigation due to what is now being considered a hit and run.

In the wee hours of Tuesday morning, LAPD emergency services received a call that reported a McLaren sports car careened into tree over on Ventura Blvd. The vehicle reportedly damaged a water line in its wake. Apparently the damage was so bad that the water had to be completely shut off.

Immediately after impact, eyewitnesses reported seeing both the driver and passenger fleeing the scene. At the time, cops were looking for a black man in a red top and a woman in a blue jumpsuit.

Other eyewitness insisted it was the former 106 & Park host’s girlfriend who was behind the wheel at the time of the scary crash.

Though the car was wrecked, no injuries have been reported and sources claim that the cops are still investigating.

According to the tow truck company, the now-mangled vehicle is allegedly registered to none other than Terrence J. And though his ownership hasn’t been confirmed, earlier this year, he posted a video of him driving a car that looked almost exactly like the one involved in the accident.
