Always know which celebrity you’re talking to before approaching them. Many fans have learned the hard way when it comes to Mario. The singer says he’s incessantly mistaken for another famous artist. No, not Chris Brown, but another Chris — Chris Rock.
“I’ve been on airplanes before and stewardesses will wake me up and be like, ‘Can I get your autograph before you get off the plane? I’m a really big fan of yours and I loved your show last night,’” Mario tells OK!. “I’m like ‘I didn’t perform last night.’ And they’ll be like ‘I saw your show on MTV.’ And I’ll be like, ‘That wasn’t me.’ ‘Aren’t you Chris Rock?’ ‘No I’m not Chris Rock.’ "

Still, he can’t be too offended with the gaffe because Chris is “rich” and “well-off,” but as for another department, Mario’s not so sure if it’s a good thing to be mistaken for him.
“Looks-wise, I don’t know,” he says.
The 21-year-old drops his new album, Go, on Nov. 27 and says he’s trying to enjoy every moment of his career.
“I’m a perfectionist but I try to enjoy what I do at the same time without putting too much pressure on myself to be perfect,” Mario says. “I also try to give back… I would definitely say that’s the good life, being able to give back.”
