A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it was announced that J.J. Abrams would be directing a new Star Wars movie, and ever since then, the speculation on the Internet has run wild. With everyone from Zac Efron to Benedict Cumberbatch mentioned as potential stars in the re-launch film, we finally got a definitive answer today as to who would be comprising this important cast.

Adam Driver (from Girls!), Oscar Issac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Domhnall Gleeson (the adorable guy from About Time!), Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), John Boyega (so good in Attack The Block), Daisy Ridley, and Max von Sydow will officially be joining the original Stars Wars cast in this new movie which includes Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker and Peter Mayhew. And while Adam had one of his sweetest season yet on Girls, he will be playing a secretive villain in this flick.

The new movie will take place 30 years after 1983's Return of the Jedi, and details about it will probably prove to be even more secretive than the months of casting news has been. So it looks like we'll have to see all the action for ourselves in Star Wars: Episode VII, expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
