Only a few days after reigning supreme for the second year in a row at the Country Music Awards in Nashville, it was time once again on Sunday for Carrie Underwood to load up on trophies, as she took home a trio of honors at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The country cutie earned awards for both best country female artist and for having the best country album on Sunday. Additionally, Carrie took home the T-Mobile Text-In award. "It was a heck of a night," the understated singer said at the ceremony.

But Carrie wasn't the only American Idol alum to rake in the honors at the AMAs. Rocker Chris Daughtry, who didn't even make the finals of the Fox show, and his band, Daughtry, also won three separate awards — best pop/rock album, breakthrough artist, and the adult contemporary award.

While Daughtry was on hand to entertain the audience, another of the night's big winners, Justin Timberlake, had to accept his trophies for best pop/rock male artist and for best R&B/Soul album via satellite from Australia, where the "SexyBack" singer is currently on tour.
