There's a Super Freaky crime spree going on in Indiana !

A dude dressed to look like the late singer Rick James and an accomplice have knocked over two Indianapolis banks, basically giving ordering the tellers to "Give It to Me, Baby!"

On Sept. 19, cops say the R&B musician's look-alike barged into the advanced America bank with a pal, who was dressed to look like the drug dealing character Youngblood Priest from the classsic movie Super Fly.

"Two black men wearing all black entered the bank with handguns," said a local news report. "Both men approached the teller counter and demanded money. The suspects ran in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money."

Both suspects were said to be between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 with long hair or wigs. One had braids and beads, a trademark of James.

The next day, cops believe the same duo was at it again, hitting the Indiana Members Credit Union. They are asking the public's help in rounding up the crooks.

James shot to fame with the hit singles "Give It to Me Baby" and "Super Freak" but ran into legal troubles himself. While on a crack cocaine binge, he abducted and tortured two women, and spent three years in California sate prison. He resumed his music career after being paroled, but died of heart failure in 2004 at age 56.
