Country star Thomas Rhett couldn’t help but smile with pride as he showed off his wife Lauren’s growing baby bump at the iHeartRadio Music Awards Sunday night!
The couple revealed in mid-February that they were expecting.
In a shocking twist, the couple found out they were pregnant in the midst of adopting a child from Africa.
The "Die a Happy Man" singer announced the news via Instagram, captioning his post, “Safe to say life is about to get crazy!”
Prior to getting pregnant, Lauren had struggled to conceive. “I was like, ‘Maybe this is the Lord’s way of telling me adoption is what he wants me to do.’ And I was okay with that,” she told People magazine.
Now that she has not one but two babies on the way, Lauren is definitely glowing!
Thomas capped off his amazing night by winning Country Artist of the Year, during which he revealed the couple is expecting a girl! "My wife is 18 weeks pregnant. So this is also our unborn daughter's first awards show," he said.
