Former Saved By the Bell star Tiffani Theissen talked exclusively to OK! about her thoughts on friend Jennie Garth’s marriage ending.

“Obviously, divorce is not easy on anybody. It’s important for the kids to be okay. So I can’t imagine that they probably aren’t thinking of them first. Hopefully that’s the case,” Tiffani confided.

Jennie, who just split from Twilight actor Peter Facinelli, was Tiffani’s former co-star in the original Beverly Hills, 90210 series.

“You know, honestly, I don’t have time to watch TV,” Tiffani lamented. “But I don’t even know anything about it. That’s the funny thing.”

Tiffani also seemed unsure of Jennie’s choice to relocate. “She’s moving to the country? I don’t know about that.”

At an event celebrating her partnership with KIND Bars and Baby Buggy, the philanthropist and mother aided underprivileged families by helping to deliver diapers to local New York moms who lack the resources to provide basic needs for their babies. Of the partnership, Tiffani said, “I am a mother. I know how hard it is. Being a parent is expensive. It’s time consuming and you want to try and provide the best you can for your kid. You want the best for your children, so we’re here to try and make it a little bit easier on them being that it is sometimes hard for people right now with the economy.”

Tiffani told OK! that she hopes to instill her passion for philanthropy in her 2-year-old daughter, Harper. She explained, “I’m hoping that as she gets older and she sees that I’m doing things like this, that it will hopefully just be a part of her life as well. I can’t imagine that not registering in her as well and her wanting to do the same thing.”

When Harper was brought up, the proud mom couldn’t help but brag about her daughter’s latest milestones. “She says new words everyday. Her newest word was giraffe, which is kind of a hard word!” Tiffani gushed. “I write a list of all the new words she says everyday.”
