Tiger's Wife Wavers on Divorce Decision

While reports of an impending divorce and child custody battle between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have been circulating, TMZ reports that Elin has not made any concrete decisions and will not file for divorce immediately. However, sources tell TMZ, Tiger's wife cannot move beyond Tiger's alleged 3-year relationship with one of the reported mistresses or his alleged affair while Elin was pregnant.

Elin's main hurdle is trusting her pro golfer husband, something she may never be able to surmount.

Last week, the New York Daily News reported that Elin has hired one of Hollywood’s most aggressive divorce lawyers, Sorrell Trope — whose clients include Cary Grant, Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage — to stand by her.

Elin reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement before she married Tiger, so Trope would most likely be enlisted to hammer out a postnup to give her a bigger piece of Woods’ wealth, sources speculate.

“There is just one Sorrell Trope,” said Manhattan divorce lawyer Robert Wallack. “He’s the dean of the California matrimonial bar.

Tiger, 33, who cheated on Elin with a more than 13  women, is rumored to have offered her millions to stop her from walking away — and taking their two kids.

Trope, 82, has yet to return calls about his involvement in the case.

One of the most recent developments in the Tiger scandal are reports that Elin is seeking full custody of their two children.

Requesting guardianship of both their daughter Sam, 2, and their less than a year old baby Charlie, Elin believes that Tiger has not done merely enough to save their wedding vows, according to Radar Online.
