Alas, we cannot go on a shopping trip every day.
But we can (and do) indulge in what we like to think of as a Gilt Trip: the fifteen minutes or so we take at noon (EST) every day to see what bargains are to be found at the discounted-fashion site Gilt.
And apparently we're in good company. Gwyneth Paltrow (pictured) recently identified herself as one of those savvy shoppers who sit poised, clicking-finger quivering above the mouse button as the second hand ticks closer to the moment when the online sales begins (yes, movie stars love a great deal too).
Make no mistake though, these are be cut-price goods, but Gilt is for serious luxury shoppers only. The clothes and accessories may come at 70% off their regular prices, but that doesn't mean the $23,400 Fendi fur coat that's on there today for $8,298 is exactly cheap.
