Todd Phillips Has Plot Idea for 'Hangover 3' That's "A Different Structure"

It's hard to tell if he's being serious or not, but Todd Phillips says he has a new plot idea for a possible Hangover 3 film.

The Hangover: Part II is similar to the first film in that it revolves around a wedding and a night that no one can remember.

But if Todd were to make a third film, he'd do it a bit different than the first two.

"I have an idea for the plot, but the idea is just an idea," he told New York Magazine's Vulture at the premiere of the second movie. "It's not even something I've talked about with the guys."

"My idea is serious. Deadly serious," he explained. "It will not revolve around a wedding, and it will not revolve around a forgotten night, I'll tell you that much. It's just a different structure. We'll see."

It would not involve Zach Galifianakis' character, Alan, getting married — that's for sure!

"Alan will never get married," Todd said with a laugh. "Alan's asexual. If he doesn't know that by now, he's in trouble."
