NEWSOK! Exclusive: Total Divas Star Rosa Mendes Talks Pregnancy, Engagement And Conflicts On The Show
Rosa Mendes has had one busy year! Not only is she expecting her daughter any day now, she also got engaged and made some big career changes.
The professional wrestler spoke with OKMagazine.com about how excited she is to meet her baby girl, Jordan, how surprised she was to get engaged to Bobby Schubenski, and why the other ladies on her hit E! show, Total Divas, need to get better at communicating!
At 8 months pregnant, Rosa is feeling better than ever. “Pregnancy’s been awesome. I’ve been very active, feeling great,” she said. “I’ve been going to the gym, doing everything I normally do.”
She admitted that she eats whatever she’s craving but still hits the gym because “I put the baby’s health first.”
As for her wedding, “I want to just concentrate on just Jordan for now and then start planning the wedding.” But she would love for Total Divas to film it!
As for Rosa’s career, the wrestler plans to be a working mom! She told OK!, “I plan on staying at home for a few months and to take care of Jordan. But right after that I plan on getting back on the road. I’m excited to come back and take her on the road with me.”
Being home right now has given Rosa time to realize some mistakes she made on the show and admitted that being around so many different personalities on the show creates tension.
“A lot of quarrels and stuff like that come out of miscommunication. So much drama could be avoided if everyone just spoke to each other first,” she explained.
As for projects outside the ring, Rosa has a kids clothing line called Hoods Up Kids and she plans to relaunch it after the upcoming birth of her daughter.
