Fifteen-year-old BooBoo Stewart may not be trying to get Taylor Lautner or Rob Pattinson’s six-pack abs, but the Eclipse star is definitely doing whatever he can in preparation to begin filming the latest of the Twilight sagas.

“I have definitely been going to the gym and just reading the books so I can get the character down for all of the fans.” BooBoo explained to OK! been preparing to play the role of teen werewolf Seth Clearwater at the 98.7FM/ KIIS FM Sunset Music Festival Gifting Room on Friday night.

“I have been doing a lot of sit-ups, legs lifts, biceps, and triceps," said the California native. "Pretty much everything. I go jogging and do a lot of cardio.”

And lucky for BooBoo, fitness runs in the family. “My mom’s a personal trainer so she trains me a lot and trust me, she’s a hard trainer!”

And, don’t worry about BooBoo getting caught up too soon with the Twilight hunk factor. The new kid on the block is only trying to stay fit as he explains to OK! “My character is a lanky, swimmer type of body so I just want to achieve that.”

While most of the Eclipse cast has already begun filming, BooBoo has just been biding his time in L.A., waiting for his turn in front of the camera. "I leave next week to start filming," he explained. "I am just so excited that someone even gave me this chance and opportunity.”

Good luck BooBoo!
