UGLY BETTY Casting scoop!

Looks like you won’t have to wait till Dexter, season four, to see more of Lauren Velez.

While the news has yet to be confirmed by the show, the TV Fanatic has learned that Lauren is currently shooting some scenes on Ugly Betty.

No word yet on who Lauren is playing (I’m hearing her scenes are with the Suarez family!), but the actress, who was also on HBO’s prison drama Oz, is guaranteed to turn in a tough, yet tender performance!

Ugly Betty returns with new episodes on Thursday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. on ABC!
