Usher Says Goodbye to 2012 With a Fun-Filled Weekend in Mexico

Usher celebrated the new year a little early over the weekend when he performed at a sold-out concert for more than fourteen thousand fans at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico. He also attended the grand opening of the hotel's new Noir nightclub, which was designed by the legendary Francois Frossard (the same designer of Arkadia at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach) while at the resort.
Throughout the weekend Usher managed to squeeze in some quality time with the fam. "He and his kids hung out at the teen lounge called Wired. They played video games and were hitting a speed punching bag that tells you how much strength you hit it with. There were other guests and kids playing at Wired as well," says a source.

The Grammy-award-winning artist hit up Sky Bar for drinks following the show and Los Tacos for lunch during his stay and was very friendly to all the hotel guests, signing autographs and taking pictures with them.
