NEWS'Vampire Diaries' Preview: There's a New Vampire in Town — Meet Sage!

After a month-long hiatus, The Vampire Diaries is back with an all-new episode tonight, titled "1912." From the sound of it, you're probably thinking it's flashback time — and well, you're right!

Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is starting to see a connection between the murders in Mystic Falls to a similar situation that happened back in the day, when he knew a gorgeous, redheaded vampire named Sage (Cassidy Freeman).
"Sage taught me how to have a good time," Damon tells Stefan (Paul Wesley) in the preview clip. (We're wondering what he means by "good time").
In numerous flashbacks, we return to a time when Damon and Stefan wore hats and suits and attended boxing matches. (Yes, very different from their current lives, which are filled with hybrids, witches and a certain doppelganger.)

Speaking of Elena (Nina Dobrev), she teams up with Matt (Zach Roerig) and breaks into Meredith's (Torrey DeVitto) house to find evidence to prove she's the one who's killing the innocent residents of Mystic Falls.
