Kendra Wilkinson stopped by the Today show Tuesday to promote her new memoir, Sliding Into Home. In her intimate book — which hits stands today — Kendra opens up about her teenage battle with meth and having sex with Hugh Hefner at a very young age.

Kendra told Kathie Lee and Hoda that she started taking drugs when she was 13-years-old after her dad left the family.

She also revealed that she secretly became a stripper before moving into the Playboy mansion at 18, and just recently told her mom about the stripping so she wouldn't have to learn about it through the book.

Kathie Lee asked Kendra about feeling out of place at the mansion, and whether or not Hugh has read the book — which documents very intimate moments between Kendra and the Playboy mogul.

"That was in the beginning," Kendra said. "I've always loved him. But going into it I was 18 years old, a very free spirit, but right when I got there I didn't really know what was going on."

Here's an excerpt from Kendra's Sliding Into Home, via Huffington Post:

The whole evening, Hef and I kept staring at each other. It wasn't a physical attraction for me, but he was just so cool. The way he acted and the things he said were unlike anything I had seen or heard before.

At the end of the night Hef came up to me, gave me a key, and asked me to stay the night. I couldn't -- mainly because Zack was sitting outside the Mansion in his car, but beyond that, I felt that being there that night was a job, and I wanted to keep it that way. Clock in. Clock out.

I gave him the key back but told him I would see him again soon.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked again before I left.

Staring into his eyes, I didn't see a man four times my age with ten times more girlfriends than most. Even though I hardly knew him yet, I saw a sweet man who made me feel really good about myself — a true gentleman. It was weird but in my heart, I felt like he was someone I could possibly trust.

"So, will you?"

There was only one thing I could say: "Um, okay."

Can you guess who the memoir is dedicated to?

"My book is dedicated to my son Hank IV, of course it had to be to him… he’s my boo, he’s my home base, he’s my EVERYTHING! I would relive this whole book again just for him. There’s not one second of this book I would take back because if it wasn’t for this story, I wouldn’t have my beautiful son!"
