The Book of Mormon was the big winner this year at the Tony Awards, taking home nine prizes, including Best Musical, Best Score and and Best Director. And after the cast's amazing performance during last night's ceremony, broadcasted live from the Beacon Theatre in NYC, it isn't hard to see why!

Broadway star Andrew Rannells hit the stage as Elder Price to perform the song “I Believe” from the hit musical.

The number scored him a nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical, but he lost out to Norbert Leo Butz, the star of Catch Me If You Can.

Of his experience on The Book of Mormon, Andrew told the Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy blog, "It’s moved very, very quickly. It’s amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and I’m so thrilled I get to be a part of it. It’s unbelievable."
