West restarted the war on August 20, seemingly around the time when Trippie Redd dropped his fourth album, Trip At Knight, featuring the "In My Feelings" artist on the third track.
In one of the verses Drake allegedly refers to both West and Pusha T. while rapping, "All these fools I'm beefin' that I barely know / Forty-five, forty-four (burned out), let it go / Ye ain't changin' s--t for me, it's set in stone."
The billionaire artist responded on Instagram when he revealed a screenshot of a group chat that was rumored to include the "Hotline Bling" singer. The image included screenshot of the Joker along with the words, "I live for this. I've been f--ked with by nerd ass jock n----s like you my whole life. You will never recover. I promise you."
He then shared Drake's home address in Toronto (but later deleted it) as both artists confirmed their albums would hit shelves on the same day.
Now, it seems fans of both rappers have rushed into what was only an ugly war of words. Things got serious when photos emerged of West's childhood home vandalized by Drake fans, who had apparently left several mean-spirited signs on the front steps.
One of the signs clearly meant to anger Yeezy reads, “CLB coming soon” and another quotes Drizzy's Betrayal, stating, “44-45, burnt out,” meant to take a dig at West's age.
One sign crossed the line with an attack on West's bestie Justin Laboy, with the words, :"F—k Justin Laboy."
It is worth noting that whichever fan or fans left the signs on West's childhood home's front steps it could have been much, much worse. There was no damage nor any spray-painted graffiti on the rapper's house.
As OK! previously reported, on Thursday, West hosted a third Donda listening party at Soldier Field in Chicago to 38,000 attendees. While 1,500 COVID-19 vaccines were made available to anyone who wanted one, only 13 rolled up their sleeves.
The big question now is if this ongoing beef is just a marketing ploy to get more people to listen to both of their music, or is the feud real?
West's 'Donda' album is largely assumed to be his masterpiece while Drake's Certified Lover Boy album is also rumored to be his best yet.
Both albums are currently slated to be released on September 3.
