Former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham is in yet another feud and this time it's with Harvard University.
According to TMZ, Abraham feels like she was wronged by the Ivy League school when she was kicked off a Zoom course by her teacher with no explanation.
The infamous reality-TV mom is suing the University for what she tells TMZ is “education abuse.”
Abraham claims her online professor, Patricia Bellanca, dropped her after telling her to turn in an assignment without checking it over. However, after following the professor's instructions, Abraham says that action was later used against her to convince her to drop the course.
She also is unhappy with the entire Harvard online program, describing it as a “joke” and a “scam.” Abraham also hints that the elite University may have racially discriminated against her when she said she was the “most person of color” in the class.
The reality star felt she had no choice but to take this educational travesty to the media since neither the professor in question nor the dean Robert Neugeboren has returned any of her calls or emails.
Earlier this year, the former teen mom made the surprising announcement that would be attending Harvard. This was followed up with the New York Times bestselling author updating her LinkedIn profile by adding her Harvard education to her business page.
However, that wasn't really true, since it read that she actually had a degree from Harvard, claiming she received a Master Of Liberal Arts from the Creative Writing and Literature Graduate Program.
Almost over-night followers of her LinkedIn page reported her profile's claim of having a degree from Harvard which caused the site administrators to take it down until she could provide proof.
Now, Abraham is fighting back, and has put her writing skills to use by posting the following one-star Yelp review of Harvard [In her own words]:
“After attending Harvard and #1 being discriminated to the highest level by being locked out of my zoom for a course I payed for by the teacher Patricia Bellanca and Dean Robert Neugenboren with no one answering emails, setting calls, nor the XXL, diversity, disabilities and admissions directors stepped in being cc'd from day 1 on the teachers misconduct, these are not responsible professionals these are bulling student tactics that are illegal and sexist."
"Also as a masters student you pay a higher tuition then everyone else yet share a class with sophomores in high school, associates, and bachelors levels. This is a ivy league lawsuit, scam, fraud."
"I had to dispute my tuition after the teach claimed I had a neurological issue yet my other course I was asked to guest speak with effortless A. I would advise Harvard is not a safe nor credible school to attend."
"Educational abuse, deny student education, unsafe, discriminate, slander and poor mental health and writing and center help. Their own teachers do not know how to teach online! Hypocrite, scam, illegal ivy league joke."
She went on to furiously put the school on blast for the LinkedIn controversy, then ended the fiery review with, "...Harvard is pathetic and is educationally abusive to students."
OK! reached out to Abraham's reps, as well as Harvard's online Zoom program and have not yet heard back.
