Home (not-so) sweet home. Jill Duggar admitted that she hasn't stepped inside the Duggar family’s “big house” in years.

The former Counting On star made the shocking revelation in a Q&A with husband Derick Dillard, which was shared on the couple's YouTube channel, Dillard Family Official, on Monday, March 22. When asked if they ever visit Jim Bob and Michelle's home, Duggar confessed: “We haven’t actually been over there in a while, probably like a couple years,” before noting that they stopped by "once to grab some mail.”

While citing COVID-19 as one factor that's kept the duo away from Duggar's childhood home — given that the pandemic has forced them to keep their inner circle smaller than usual — the 29-year-old said they also feel like they need to "prioritize [their] mental and emotional health," during this stage (or "season," as they call it) of their life.

"Our threshold — we like to call it — is a little bit lower in this season of life for us," Duggar continued, adding that she and her hubby, 32, have "a lot going on for us in our own lives."

Duggar and Dillard wed in June 2014 and share sons Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3. From 2008-2015, the mother-of-two and her family starred in 19 Kids and Counting. After the show was canceled in 2015, she and her family starred in the spinoff Counting On, before Duggar decided to leave two years later.

Last year, Duggar revealed on her YouTube channel that she and her hubby wanted to leave the show so they could have more control over their lives. "We ended up finding out we didn’t have as much control over our lives as it related to the show and stuff as we felt like we needed," she candidly explained at the time. “We had to make a decision at that time to kind of put the show aside … to pursue our own goals and everything."

In the video, Duggar shared that she and Dillard were "distancing" themselves from the household, since they were "not on the best terms with some of [her] family" after they quit.

Despite getting into "some disagreements" with her family, Duggar hopes there can be a resolution. "We're working towards healing definitely and restoration, but we're having to kind of just take some time and heal," the brunette beauty explained.

"We're doing what's best for our family right now and just working through it," she said, adding: "We are praying and trusting God that like, the timeline is his and what that looks like and everything."
