Something happened to Kanye West's Instagram page and it has fans wondering if it may be an obscure message that his highly anticipated new album is about to launch.
The soon to be ex-hubby of Kim Kardashian completely wiped his entire IG page aside from one single photo. The image was of the childhood home that he grew up in on the South Side of Chicago, which he also purchased last year for $225,000.
But fans are wondering if Ye wiped his IG to promote his album titled DONDA.
Named in remembrance of his late mother, the image of his childhood abode ties into the theme of the album quite nicely, and would make sense as a cryptic message to fans that the album release may be right around the corner.
Rumors of the albums release has been a frustration for fans who were expecting the new songs in July. The release was then postponed to early August, but there is still no word from the billionaire artist on a set date. West's manager, Bu Thiam has confirmed that the album will "absolutely" and "100%" be released next week. However, fans have heard that before.
West has had two listening parties thus far. The rapper's first listening party occurred in Atlanta for friends and fans in mid July, and the Apple Music Global Livestream reached 3.3 million viewers. It's no surprise that the anticipation has millions of West's fans anxious to say the least.
Even Kardashian has showed her support for the album by showing up at both listening parties and the pair were even spotted having lunch together this week without the kids in Malibu.
The very amicable looking lunch in view of a herd of photographers shows the two seem to be peacefully moving on from husband and wife to co-parents.
Time heals all wounds and it is important to both of them for Kanye to be in their children's lives according to an insider for E! News, "Kim wants the kids to stay connected to Kanye and will make that happen."
"It's very important to her that she has a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kanye and that the kids have strong relationships with both of their parents... it's a huge priority for Kim and she's doing everything she can."
DONDA will be West's tenth studio album.
