Kelly Clarkson Awarded Two Additional Properties In Brandon Blackstock Divorce As Judge Rules Her Money Was Used To Purchase Residences

After a judge ruled Kelly Clarkson’s Montana ranch — where ex Brandon Blackstock is currently living — is officially hers, reports are surfacing The Voice coach was awarded two additional properties.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, Clarkson argued she purchased the two nearby properties herself after Blackstock “stopped contributing towards the parties’ ongoing expenses.” A judge agreed with the singer and granted her request.
In 2020, The Kelly Clarkson Show host purchased the two small properties — the first being a seven bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home in the city of Anaconda and the second a six bedroom, six bath home in Philipsburg, MT.
OK! reported Blackstock claimed the Montana ranch, where he's been working as a full-time rancher, was “marital property” — but a judge found the residence fell within the former couple’s prenup and gave it to the “Breakaway” songstress.
The former music manager had contested the prenup, arguing any income earned during the seven years they were married should be split between the two. A judge disagreed.

After the ruling, Blackstock appeared to be confused. Paparazzi caught up with the 44-year-old earlier in the week after arriving at LAX and he seemed to think a judge hadn’t made a decision yet, despite that not being the case.
The American Idol winner was previously ordered to pony up $200,000 a month in spousal and child support to her estranged ex. Clarkson was granted primary physical custody of the former flames two children, River Rose, 7, and Remington Alexander, 5, in November.
Clarkson filed for divorce from Blackstock in June 2020, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
The “Stronger” singer was officially declared a single woman in August, when a judge signed off on a legal dissolution of her marriage.
She had previously requested the judge declare the duo legally divorced in July, declaring they both “deserve the opportunity to build a new life.”
