Having the best of both worlds proves to be a challenge for Meghan Markle, who is trying to hold on to her royal life while living out her Hollywood dreams.

Royal author Angela Levin speculated that Queen Elizabeth II isn't happy with the Duchess of Sussex's investment in instant oat-milk lattes by Clevr Blends — which was promoted on Oprah Winfrey's Instagram account after Meghan gifted the products to the show host in December 2020.

"If you are trying to sell the royal name for commercial gain, like Meghan has done with the vegan coffee, you are in for a lot of trouble with Her Majesty," Levin stated. "She just doesn't like that."

The royal author added that she doesn't think the couple will be welcomed back into the royal fold.

Levin's assumptions come just days after Meghan ditched her surname on the couple's new Spotify venture, "Archewell Audio," to read: "Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex." The couple's first podcast dropped in the final days of 2020.

It is common for royal family members to only use first names. However, Meghan decided to drop "Markle" three years after she became the Duchess in 2018 — conveniently as she and Prince Harry embark on new business ventures and are financially independent from the royals.

The Queen is also due to decide if she will be extending Harry and Meghan's Megxit deal, which is set to end on March 31.

Despite stepping away from their royal duties last March, the red-headed prince, 36, and brunette beauty, 39, aren't ready to give up their royal titles just yet. OK! previously reported that Harry and Meghan are hoping to get their Megxit deal with the Queen, 94, extended for another 12 months.

The couple stepped away from their senior royal duties to start their lives anew in the U.S. They traded Frogmore Cottage for a $14.65 million mansion in the celeb-filled Montecito community and their royal duties for multi-million dollar deals with streaming giants.

The power couple's Spotify deal comes a few months after they secured a $150 million Netflix deal to create their own production company.

And while Harry and Meghan seem to have everything they dreamed of, the son of Princess Diana is starting to also regret leaving the royals in 2020.
