Steven Mnuchin's Wife Louise Linton Oozes Sex Appeal In New Flick Opposite Ed Westwick — Watch
It’s time for Louise Linton to be the star of the show! The 40-year-old — who is married to Steven Mnuchin, the former United States Secretary of the Treasury — stars in the new dramedy, Me You Madness, which shows off the actress’ sex appeal.
In the campy thriller, which drops on February 12, Linton plays Catherine Black, a sociopathic bisexual woman who hunts down and kills men with kitchen knives and crossbows in order to eat them.
Ed Westwick also stars in the film — which is Linton’s feature directorial debut. In the trailer, the two can be seen playing a cat and mouse game before realizing they are falling for one another.
The flick may be far-fetched, but Linton doesn’t seem to mind. “There will be people who love it and people who hate it,” she told The New York Times. “But I don’t care what people say. I’m proud of my little film. It’s a potpourri of silliness.”
The blonde beauty made headlines in 2017 after she posted a photo of herself and her husband getting off a military jet via Instagram.
“Great #daytrip to #Kentucky! #rolandmouret, #hermesscarf, #tomford and #valentino,” she wrote.
But one fan didn’t love that Linton was flaunting her wealth on social media. “Glad we could pay for your little getaway. #deplorable,” they wrote.
Instead of brushing it off, Linton engaged with the user. “Aw!!! Did you think this was a personal trip?! Adorable!” she wrote. “Do you think the US govt paid for our honeymoon or personal travel?! Lololol. Have you given more to the economy than me and my husband? Either as an individual earner in taxes OR in self sacrifice to your country?”
Linton added, “I’m pretty sure we paid more taxes toward our day ‘trip’ than you did. Pretty sure the amount we sacrifice per year is a lot more than you’d be willing to sacrifice if the choice was yours.”

Three months later, Linton turned heads when she accompanied her husband to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. In the photos, Linton was pictured wearing tight black gloves while holding up a sheet of $1 bills, leading people to compare her to Darth Vader and Cruella de Vil.
Following the controversy, Linton later apologized. “Look, I made some rookie mistakes. I understand why people are angry about me getting off that government plane tagging fashion brands,” she told LAMag.com. “It was a stupid thing to do. I get why everyone rolled their eyes at the opera gloves. But this caricature of me is the opposite of the girl I actually am. I run a business; I have several movies coming out. I can’t hide out for another five years.”
Linton wrote Me You Madness in 2018 after she was harshly criticized. “I definitely felt censored, and I didn’t know what I was allowed to be,” she said. “You can’t wear this. You can’t do that. You start to feel a little nervous to do anything. I spent plenty of days in a curled-up little ball, just crying and not understanding.”
She continued, “In writing and playing Catherine I’ve discovered an extraordinary sense of freedom and fun. This character can be so uninhibited in her universe.”

As for what Mnuchin, 58, thinks about his wife’s latest endeavor? “He loves it!” she exclaimed. “He thinks it’s hilarious. It’s a fun, harmless movie — a campy, playful homage to femme fatales. And to the ’80s, with its fast cars and hot babes and fun fashion and ‘Tron’ lighting.”
“I watched Louise create this film from first draft to final edit. I’m proud of her drive, tenacity, and spirit. The movie is highly entertaining and very good fun,” he added.
However, the movie — which features orgies and sex — may not be for former Vice President Mike Pence, who officiated Linton and Mnuchin’s wedding in 2017, and his wife, Karen Pence. “Probably not their cup of tea,” Linton quipped.
