Aaron Carter has been hospitalized in Florida on November 14. The singer posted on Instagram and Twitter updates regarding his wellbeing. Aaron, 31, has had a tumultuous year, including his breakup from former girlfriend Lina Valentina and the restraining order drama with his brother Nick and twin sister Angel.
Aaron posted a concerning picture on November 14 of him lying in a hospital bed covered by a blanket and hooked up to an IV. The geotag marked the location as Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, which is a medical center in Destin, Florida. “Mommas gonna take care of you,” the picture was captioned. Not long after, “I’m handlin socials for my son till he recoverers... -mamma jane” was posted on the singer’s Twitter account.
Concerned fans sent their well wishes to the “Aaron’s Party” singer. “What's wrong now as you were doing so well lately,” one person wrote. “Praying for you Aaron,” another chimed in. “What happened? Are you okay?” a third asked.
Hours before social media updates about Aaron in the hospital were posted online, Aaron shared an Instagram of himself performing onstage. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. - My Mom is back. #Manager." June Carter had previously managed his and brother Nick Carter’s careers.
Aaron recently posted several Instagram Live videos of himself as he drove through Florida at night with his mother and several pugs. During the videos, Aaron said that he had a stressful day and appeared concerned about his health. He claimed he weighed “12 pounds,” and said that June planned on feeding him three meals a day. "Finally I can go to sleep at night and feel comfortable," Aaron added. He reportedly drove for five days to pick up his mother from Florida and bring her to live with him after she relapsed on alcohol
2019 has been a turbulent year for the Florida native. Over the summer, Aaron and Lina Valentina called it quits after a year of dating, and not long after, Aaron obtained a partial restraining order against his ex over alleged stabbing threats.
Nick, 39, also sought a restraining order against the former child star over violent threats in September. He released a statement to explain their reasoning. “After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today. In light of Aaron's increasingly alarming behavior and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take away every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family," the former Backstreet Boy wrote.
Aaron responded to this statement on Twitter at the time. "I am astounded at the accusations being made against me and I do not wish harm to anyone, especially my family,” he wrote.
