Abby Lee Miller is struggling to keep it together! The Lifetime star officially resigned from Dance Moms earlier this year, claiming that producers never gave her creative credit and “manipulated, disrespected, and used” her. The news came a year after Abby pled guilty to charges related to federal bankruptcy fraud. Then in May, a judge sentenced Abby to a year in prison. With Abby’s departure, the moms bring in famed choreographer Laurieann Gibson to train their children. However, Laurieann’s intense methods, which she used when working with Michael Jackson and Beyoncé, prove to be too much for the girls.

So instead they hire Dancing with the Stars MVP Cheryl Burke to take over dance classes, and she’s exactly what the doctor ordered.
