Abby Lee Miller may have quit Dance Moms, but that doesn’t mean the dancing queen has given up TV for good. In a shocking twist, RadarOnline.com learned that Abby is planning her own spinoff to the hit Lifetime show — but she’s pitching it to a different network! Mini team dance mom Sari Lopez revealed the scoop in an exclusive interview with the site after Abby hinted at the new show herself in a mysterious Instagram post. Could this be Abby Lee’s chance at redemption after being abandoned by her own dancers?
"We met with Abby last night,” Sari dished to Radar. Sari’s daughter Areana is a member of the mini dance team. “They’re pitching another show with the minis with another network.”
Not invited to be a part of the new show is the junior elite competition team. According to Sari, the elite team’s mothers treated Abby “like trash.” “She’s always wanted her own show with the minis,” Lopez revealed. “But production wouldn’t let that happen.”
There’s no doubt Abby is excited about this newest opportunity. Just days ago, she posted a photo from the Beverly Hills Hotel with the caption: “Lunch Meeting at The Beverly Hills Hotel! And I’m the first to arrive? That’s right eager to get started! #aldcminis #thebestisyettocome.”

Abby starred on Dance Moms for seven seasons, but recently quit the show, saying on Instagram that she was tired of “being manipulated, disrespected and used day in and day out by men who never took a dance lesson in their lives and treat women like dirt!”
Things began to unravel for Abby at her studio when she left her team for three weeks, leaving choreographers Laurie-Ann Gibson and Meagan Nugent in charge. Upon Abby’s return, some of the dancers left the studio for 8 Count Dance Academy.
Now that Abby’s left, too, Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke is taking over the show. But Sari isn’t sure she’ll compare: “I don’t think Abby is replaceable. Who could replace her when she’s the entire show?”
