Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding guest list may look like a who’s who of Hollywood! Although the pair failed to invite several members of the royal family to the royal wedding this Saturday, they made room for some of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers, including Amal and George Clooney!
An insider told People magazine that the famous pair is expected to attend. “Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while,” the source told the mag, explaining that the women were introduced via a mutual friend and have become good friends since Meghan moved to the UK late last year.
The source noted that Meghan and Amal have “many interests” in common, including a passion for humanitarian work.
Amal and George are also among the lucky few 200 guests invited to the couple’s exclusive evening reception at the Frogmore House. The pair's English countryside home is just a 30 minute drive from Windsor.
Other celebrities in town for the wedding include Meghan’s Suits co-stars, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, and Rick Hoffman, who admitted on the Today show Friday morning that they knew about Harry and Meghan’s romance before the rest of the world!
Meghan’s other co-star Patrick J. Adams has also been spotted in town, and Meghan’s good friend Priyanka Chopra is also expected to attend.
